We don’t just solve living and working spaces. We were commissioned to create a versatile, fun set for Disney Cookabout – a children’s adventure game show that uses cooking and the sourcing of locally-farmed, wholesome produce to promote healthy eating.

We were asked to economically renovate and revitalise a compact house with expansive problems caused by damp as a result of an overenthusiastic external paint job some months earlier.

We used the raw, natural Karoo environment where Avoova’s handcrafted luxury gifts and accessories originate from as inspiration for this high end retail environment. The heavy brutal materials contrast beautifully against the delicate broken white and ivory of the product.

Our challenge was to create a high end boutique retail environment for Avoova within an exceptionally small retail space in the new Four Season’s Hotel in Johannesburg. The fine eggshell veneer of the product provided inspiration for visual displays.

Lutge Gallery is meticulously curated by Allan Lutge. The gallery is host to Allan’s table designs in reclaimed indigenous woods, a selection of architectural salvage as well as contemporary South African ceramics, photography and art. We have worked with Allan to make seasonal changes to their showroom and redressing when new stock is introduced.

A boutique homeware retail outlet in Franschoek, South Africa. The brief was to give the space a refresh, leading up to full redesign at a later stage. We moved the palette from beige and brown to high gloss black, sunshine yellow and added green only with the use plants. So bringing the space to life.
